Dress: Old Navy
Sandals: Target (not seen)

How was your weekend? My Saturday was eventful as Matt and I spent the day in Louisville and then headed over to a small party with some new friends. Our adventure to Louisville included a bit of shopping, putt putt golf, walking around downtown Louisville and down by the water, and some amazing Irish food and beer. I chose not to wear a long sleeved sweater like in the inspiration as it was close to 90 degrees out.

It's Inspiration Monday again!! Kate Bosworth look is today's inspiration. I think her look is great with the exception of the shoes.

  1. Yes! It was too warm for me to go with a full on sweater too. I love your maxi dress, makes me want more of them for myself!

  2. Nice take on the inspiration look..I hated the shoes Want to follow eachother? I am following you :)

  3. This dress is lovely. I don't blame you for not choosing a long sleeve top, in that heat I would do without the short sleeves too! I don't like Kate's shoes either, especially not with this outfit, her skirt is so pretty!

  4. I love your maxi dress. It looks really good on you! And those sunglasses are super cute! Sounds like a really fun-filled and relaxing weekend. The best kind!

I totally agree with you, I love Kate Bosworth´s outfit, with the exception of the shoes though...
You look great! I love your long dress :)

  8. Another really pretty dress! You look nice and cool with it near the river. Best place to be when it's so hot!!

    Hello Cristi!
I like the idea of having a cardigan over a maxi dress. The combination's got this easy breezy summer vibes to it. And...I love your sunnies! Floral print sunglasses is all the rage now and I wish I find a pair on an accessible level soon.

Here's wishing you a great week ahead! :)

  10. Louisville is a great town! My husband and I were there for a wedding a year and a half ago and really enjoyed it. We had several great breakfasts at the restaurant attached to the Museum Hotel. You look great! Like the necklaces...

  11. you look very pretty in your inspired ensemble! it was too hot for a jacket here too.
