It's Monday again so that means it's time for Inspiration Monday. This week I didn't really have to think too hard about what to wear. This is a typical outfit that I go for especially since it has been super hot lately. I recently got this tank and loved the color since it is a neon yellow. (I don't think the picture really does it justice.)

Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was good and relaxing. And it finally rained here which is very much needed for the grass and my garden.

Happy Monday!!! I feel like I am sorta participating in Inspiration Monday today. I know it is not that similar to the inspiration but what's a girl gonna do when she doesn't have a printed maxi and it is too hot for any sort of jacket. She or I create this outfit and am wearing it with pride for Inspiration Monday!!!!

Do you watch Mad Men? I just started watching it on Netflix a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE IT! I have come to really like the 60s style that the women in the show have. When I finally make it to the thrift store, I will be looking for clothes inspired by the 60s. Or maybe I will work on my sewing, find some vintage patterns and then make them.

  How was your weekend? My Saturday was eventful as Matt and I spent the day in Louisville and then headed over to a small party with some new friends. Our adventure to Louisville included a bit of shopping, putt putt golf, walking around downtown Louisville and down by the water, and some amazing Irish food and beer. I chose not to wear a long sleeved sweater like in the inspiration as it was close to 90 degrees out.

 

It's Inspiration Monday again!! Kate Bosworth look is today's inspiration. I think her look is great with the exception of the shoes.

Happy Birthday to me and today I turn 26! Since it's Monday and Matt is working during the day, I plan on heading to the gym this morning and then partaking in a little shopping spree this afternoon. Matt plans on taking me to dinner tonight and then just a low key night at the rest of the night.

Happy Memorial Day to all of you! Hope you weekend has been fun and filled with lots of fun time outside or with friends and family. I know mine has even though it has been pretty hot here the last couple of days. 90 degree weather and it is still May but I guess that summer is here to stay. (Notice no long sleeves like in the picture below.) Stay tuned for pictures and details from this weekends events. We got to venture out and discover a few place around our new home!

This not working thing has got me all out of whack! Getting dressed and out of the house is not a priority for me anymore. I don't even get dress until afternoon and by then I feel like it is "late" to be posting an outfit post. But I guess it is better than I post them "late" than never at all.

Wow I have been really inconsistent on posts lately. I blame moving, unpacking and no motivation to get out of sweats and tees. Also I have no where important to be so why not stay in "comfies" all day long. But today was Matt's first whole day back at work and he was gone all day. So I had to occupy myself. I headed to the gym for a zumba class and then ran on the treadmill. At least, I can look forward to workout classes and going to the gym everyday. Later I ran a few errands and made it home to cook dinner. For now my days will consist of they few things but I need to take some time to relax and enjoy the time that I do have off work. Who knows if I will have this opportunity again.

Also having a few friends would also help my situation.

I am so ready for my honeymoon and in the need of some beach and sun. I am glad that it is so soon and then I will have a week of sitting on the beach and drinking margiritas. That's right 2 weeks from today I will be headed to Mexico on my honeymoon. I can't believe it is so soon.

Matt and I have been looking into what we want to do while on it. We think that a ziplining trip and maybe a tour of beaches in the area may be in the works. We will see though!
