So these past couple of days we have moving basically across the country from Colorado to Kentucky. It has been an adventure of its own. We got a house pretty quickly because the movers called letting us know that our stuff would be in sooner than expected. The house is nice and has a huge backyard but I am slowing finding more thing that I don't like about it and I am still not quite sure about the neighborhood. But I guess when moving to a new state and city you have never been to you have to take your chances in finding a good place to live. I keep telling Matt that we can always move in a year if we want. I hope things turn out for the best and they probably will.
A few thoughts and some pictures to show as I close this post (no outfit pictures as of now because we don't have the Internet yet and I only have my phone).
-Driving 1100 miles in 2 days sucks but was well worth it.
-Kentucky is the greenest place I have seen in the US.
-Going through St. Louis as the sun is setting is beautiful and the arch looked amazing.
-Find a good hotel to stay the night in because you will sleep better and most of the time they have a great complementary breakfast.
-Waiting on the moving truck is a pain in the behind.
-I need to buy a mower ASAP!
-And finally, Keep calm because everything will be fine in the end.
I love visiting St. Louis and seeing the arch. We have family down there and it's a fun city to spend time in if you ever get back that way!
