Cabo Honeymoon

Since I haven't gotten any wedding pictures back yet, here is our honeymoon. (Sorry so picture heavy!)

We left for Cabo San Lucas early on the Monday right after the wedding and made it to the resort around lunchtime!

The first day we spent the afternoon eating lunch and drinking cocktails, looking around the resort and checking out the beach.

We took a little nap before dinner, Matt "sat" on a cactus, and we headed down to the beach again for the sunset.

Day 2 was spent at the pool soaking up some much needed sun and drinking mojitos.

That night we dressed up and headed to dinner at one of the speciality restaurants on the resort.

Day 3 we went to the pool, took underwater pictures, and headed up to the room early to get ready for out Dinner Cruise!

Dinner Cruise on CaboRey. Highly recommended because the food is delicious, drinks were unlimited, the Cabo sunset is beautiful, you get to go to where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, see some beautiful rock formations, and I love hanging out on a boat. That same night we went to Cabo Wabo and walked around the marina.

Day 4 was spent resting in the room and venturing out that evening to meet up with some Canadians and Aussies we met. Too much to drink=not a day spent on the beach or by the pool.

Day 5 was our last whole day. We headed to the pool that morning where Matt slept till lunch and I read and did water aerobics. Then down the beach to play in the water. Overall, we had a fabulous honeymoon and would go back in a heartbeat.

While on the honeymoon, Matt and I agreed that a Dinner Cruise would be a great way to get out of the resort and onto the water. We got dressed up, caught a taxi into the Cabo marina, and boarded our boat, Cabo Rey. The 3 hour curise around the area started with a cocktail hour on the top of our ship where we met 2 amazing ladies from Canada. We spent the beginning of the curise talking with them, having margaritas, and admiring the rock formations located on the trip of Baja California and seeing where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. After that, we headed down to the dining level and had the most delicious dinner of shrimp and chicken along with a salad and dessert. We forgoed the entertainment on the dining level and headed back to the top of the ship to watch the sunset. It was beautiful and highly recommended for anyone in the area.

More on the rest of our honeymoon coming later today!

Ahhhhh, where to start? Let's see in the past 2 weeks I have got married, went on a fabulous honeymoon and returned to work for my last 2 weeks before I am unemployed. My life has been a whirlwind and I still can't manage to get my feet on the ground. But that I ok. I had a nice break from blogging and anything internet/phone related for 6 days.

So before I start on wedding pictures (the few I do have) and my outfits from my trip, I thought I would start with something simple.
